Through the years, Signal Hound’s attendance at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) has been paramount to the ongoing success and continued growth of the company. This year was no different.
Exhibiting our high-performance, boundary-pushing devices resulted in the highest booth traffic we have ever seen at the show. Booth visitors expressed enthusiasm for the innovative tools we are developing for RF professionals. We are continually encouraged by the genuine excitement and praise we receive from the industry when it comes to our products.
IMS 2024 provided an excellent opportunity for us to work alongside one of our key vendor partners, Analog Devices. In a setup at Analog Device’s booth, we showcased our SM435B spectrum analyzer and VSG60A vector signal generator to measure the linearity of an Analog Devices demo circuit board and the phase noise of their ADF4382A PLL (phase lock loop) component. This collaboration highlighted the capabilities of the SM435B to meet the emerging challenges of 6G measurement and analysis. Interest in the SM435B as a mmWave test and measurement tool was high. This demonstration exemplified how the close collaboration between Analog Devices and Signal Hound led to positive outcomes for both companies.
Signal Hound also made waves during the exhibition by demoing our latest product development – the VNA400. This new Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) product line is the result of years of development. Responding to our customers’ needs, we are proud to provide this vital piece of test equipment. The VNA400 brings Signal Hound’s innovative design methods and technical prowess into focus for this high-performance device. The 2-port, 40 Mhz to 40 GHz, USB-powered vector network analyzer will unlock industry standard tools like frequency and time domain measurements, to more engineers and technicians than ever. Not to be overlooked, our forthcoming PN400 Phase Noise and VCO tester gained significant attention. The unique combination of existing Signal Hound spectrum analyzers with new companion hardware and software offers users the most accessible entry point to phase noise test equipment in the industry.
