JasonParticipantI haven’t used my TG44A in quite awhile, and now I’m having serious problems with it. My Win10 machine has the latest CDM v2.12.00 WHQL Certified drivers installed.
With TGstandalone.exe, it’ll tune normally and will toggle RF on and off, but it always outputs -10 dBm and won’t attenuate via the controls.
When using Spike 3.8.9, its built-in TG controls won’t control or activate the TG at all. Spike with my BB60C, in SNA mode, won’t accurately zero out or measure, and Spike with my SA44B locks up then crashes when entering SNA mode or on opening TG controls.
Can anyone help? Is there a firmware update for the TG?
JasonParticipantUpdate: I got my TG44A to work with the BB60C by connecting the USB after Spike is running. Apparently it doesn’t like it to be connected before opening the program.
Justin CrooksModeratorJason,
I’m glad you found a workaround. The TG44 is occasionally a challenge to connect the first time, but the Spike software tends to connect easier on subsequent cycles. Hopefully this is your experience as well.- AuthorPosts
