OwenParticipantHello everyone, just wondered if anyone can help.
I have followed the 10GBe Network Configuration Guide on 2 PCs, Spike detects the IP address on the network, the arp -a detects the SM200C on the network, but when Spike tries to connect it does for about 10 seconds, LED blinks between green and red but there is no trace/sweep, locks up and either crashes Spike or disconnects. I have managed to get into the IQ sweep to see it measures at 50MS/s. It will only connect once per reboot, subsequent connection attempts from the File>Connection section do not detect it and the LED is green.I have tried all troubleshooting measures except anti-virus due to my company’s IT setup, I have seen some improvements when I change the decimal rate, but there must be a sweet spot somewhere, because maxing it out doesn’t benefit and nor does reducing it to the minimum.
These are the specifications I am using:
– DELL Optiplex 3050
– Intel i5 7500 3.4GHz (Which I suspect might not be enough when reading the guide?)
– X520 10G 1S X8 Network card
– Turquoise multimode cable (straight into back of PC, super short range, I have noticed there is only 1 light when looking down the lumen)- AuthorPosts
