Hi, does anyone here tried using the SA44B to track satellite signal on Ku Bands and C-bands, how accurate it is or the performance?
Can the Signalhound power on the LNB?
Thank you very much.

The SA44B is designed for narrow-band signal measurement. However, if the task is simply to measure the power at the LNB and adjust the dish for maximum power, the SA44B can work for this. The SA44B cannot provide power. A bias tee can be used to provide power, but you must use a DC block because the SA44B front end is DC coupled.

Hi Thank you for the reply, when you say designed for a narrow band,
S44B can scan a full let’s say C-band spectrum but it’s hard to determinate which is the right carrier are you looking for until you reduce your span to the lowest?
