marvistamikeParticipantWe have a Spec An that has an intermittent connection. If we jiggle the cable, the power reading on the screen can varying by over 20dB. Unfortunately ensuring a tight connector does not necessarily give the same measurement levels each time the connector is tightened. I have tried “blowing out” the connector with air. Any other suggestions?

Do you have a torque wrench for tightening the SMA? Quite often, simply cleaning with a bit of isopropyl alcohol if needed and tightening (but not over-tightening) the SMA to ~7 inch-pounds can fix the problem. If not, we can set up an RMA for you.
