Help me: problem with SA44B

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the SA44B spectrum analyzer. Last time, it is run well. But today I saw no data on the SA44B screen or Spike software. I attach an image about this problem, please help me to solve.

It is seem that the SA44B run, The SWP on the right bottom corner change, but no data on the spectrum screen. No yellow signal on screen.

As a troubleshooting step, close the software and cycle the spectrum analyzer power and try launching the software again. If you still see the same results then…

What is the readout of a marker if you place on the graticule? You can do this by clicking anywhere on the graticule and it should place a marker and give you an amplitude reading. What is the amplitude reading?

Have you switched PC’s recently? Or is this still the same PC?

Can I have you install the latest version of our software to determine if the issue persists on our newest software? You can find our latest application at http://www.signalhound.com/Spike. We now have a spectrum analyzer application called Spike which interfaces all of our devices. You can install it from the link above. It can be installed side-by-side with your current application, no need to uninstall what you currently have running. I would be curious to know the results of running the Spike application, and if you experience the same error.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I change the PC and no good news. The last LAPTOP is Windows 7, and my PC now is Windows 10.

Following your guides, when I click mouse to screen, the marker change.
On the left bottom corner, the text display’ Marker 1: 907.8147 Mhz, -1300.8 dBm’. The frequency is fix to 907.8147 Mhz but the amplitude change every second between -1300 Dbm to -1310 dBm. The SWP change with the same cycle.

When I install the Spike software, on the screen, only the text on right bottom corner change ” 153991 pts in xx ms” – only xx ms change on time so fast.

Please find the attach file for detatil. Please help me to solve it, because this portable spectrum analyzer is useful for us when we work at site.
