JaredParticipantHi again guys, its been a while!
Some of this may have already been implemented as its been quite some time that I have had a good play with Spike and many improvements have already been made!
I recently upgraded my SA44B to a BB60C (got my eyes on the SM200 next haha!) and have been using it to debug some EMC issues at work.
I’ve found a couple of improvements to the UI.
In precompliance mode –
The send to meters button, should do so, and enable meters (possibly an additional setting of if you want this mode)
Clicking on the meters to start/enable them, click on spectrum returns to spectrum.
Antenna Factor name shown at top left of plot.
In the limit tables –
A check box rather than Enable/Disable
Add a name field.
Highlight the row being edited, so you don’t edit the wrong field when you scroll across. Display limit name just above limit line.
Harmonic mode – increase the number of harmonics listed/shown, as I found some which are much higher, but had to pick the 2nd/3rd as the fundamental… not a huge issue, but would have been nicer to see it against it’s source.Food for thought anyway.
Thanks again guys for such awesome products and software! Is there a VNA in the works? 🙂
AndrewModeratorHi Jared,
Great feedback! It sounds like you are enjoying the BB60C, that’s great to hear.
I do like your suggestions for the precompliance measurements and limit lines. I have made note of them in our request log. Limit lines are due for some additional features, it has been on my list for awhile.
Can you clarify this line? I’m not confident I understand what you mean.

Out of curiosity, how many harmonics are you measuring?
No plans for a VNA at this point, but we have talked about it several times. Maybe someday!
