APeterswerthParticipantHello, I recently got a BB60D
One of my main applications is pre-EMC debugging.
That is where I miss to compare several traces in a log frequency plot to evaluate effects of circuit changes.
Even in Analysis Mode: Sweep (linear f) I can’t find a way to recal or load an old trace from a file for comparison purposes.
Did I just not find these settings or is there really no way?
AndrewModeratorUnfortunately there is no import trace capability in Spike. You would need to export the traces to compare. I apologize for the inconvenience.
APeterswerthParticipantHi, I assume that signalhound is continuously improving the spike software. For us pre-EMC users, a logarithmic frequency axis with multiple traces and saving settings with traces would be a super useful feature.
Do u mind to give me an idea if this will be implemented in the future?
AndrewModeratorWe are continuously improving the software. A number of your requested features are already in the pre-compliance measurement mode, such as
– logarithmic freq axis
– Exporting traces
– Exporting trace configurations/settings.Your original request for importing sweeps is not in the precompliance mode. I cannot estimate when you could expect this feature to be released. It is not currently in development. It has been added to our customer request log.
