M_mParticipantHi,
Has anyone had any issues with connecting their BB60C? I have followed the installation instructions (Spike + drivers) however when I plug in the USB 3.0 connector into a USB 3.0 port and the USB 2.0 connector into a USB 2.0 port, I get a connect-disconnect repetitive cycle from the USB ports. The light on the hound flicker from red to green. The hound remains in this state and simply will not connect to PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
As a matter of interest my PC meets the recommended specs.

Hi M_m,
Yes, this is an occurrence that our users sometimes see. The majority of our users resolve this by updating the USB drivers for their system. We have a post which describes how to do this. Take a look at this link,
https://signalhound.com/spike and scroll down to FAQs
under the question,
“The Spike software reports “Device Not Found””
This will provide links to USB driver updates.
You need to be using Windows 7 to install these drivers.Let me know if installing the drivers resolves this issue for you. If not, email me at aj at signalhound dot com with your PC model number, OS and any other information you have on your PC.
Regards,
A.J.
M_mParticipantHi A.J.
Thanks for the reply, would you be able to send the link you’ve referenced in your previous post? I have scrolled through each forum category to no avail.
AndrewModeratorI apologize, It appears our forum doesn’t like that link,
To get to the FAQ, go to Support -> Spike FAQs using the navigation at the top of the page.
On the FAQ page, look under the question “The Spike software reports “Device Not Found””
I also edited the previous post with another way to get to the FAQ.
M_mParticipantHi AJ,
I have tried to update drivers with no luck. I wrote in some detail of the issue to your email address. Please let me know if you did’t receive it.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Albert LuParticipantI’ve encounter the same problem with a Dell Laptop, even with updated drivers. However, BB60C worked flawlessly with my HP.
joeqsmithParticipantI saw this same symptom with my brand new Dell desktop early on as well. I suspected it had something to do with how much power I was pulling from the ports but I really am not sure. I changed the ports I was using and removed everything but my mouse and keyboard and this problem went away. I since started running it from a powered hub and this seems to work fine for the most part.
