AndrewModeratorHey Everybody,
We are releasing Spike version 3.0.15 today. There are two main additions.
We added the 5MHz RBW into the software for the SA44A and SA44B devices and we also added the ability to perform TG sweeps with the BB60A device (will require firmware update and TG44/TG124). To get the RBW to 5MHz for the SA44 devices, ensure your start frequency is greater than 200MHz and span is greater than 100MHz, and either increase RBW to 5MHz or enter it manually.

AndyParticipantMany thanks for re-instating the 5 MHz RBW. It’s really handy for taking a quick look at what’s going on. The 250 KHz RBW caused the sweep to be too slow. Shame it’s limited to >200MHz, but it’s great anyway.
Justin CrooksModeratorI’m glad you find it useful. I wish the 5 MHz RBW had better performance on the SA44B (DANL / spurious / amplitude accuracy), but I suppose for a quick, low res sweep it gets the job done.
The 200 MHz cutoff is necessary because of extremely poor spurious performance at lower frequencies.

AndrewModeratorHello Witaliy,
Please send me an email at aj@signalhound.com with this message and I can send you the calibration file and instructions.

JaredParticipantHi AJ,
When would you be able to look at adding a hide button/checkbox for the traces?
I dont want to delete the data, which OFF does, simply hide it from view to bring other waveforms to the front…i.e. max hold on trace one, grab my rf burst, disable updating of max. max hold on trace three, grab different rf burst, disable updating of max, then use the ‘hide’ button to swap between them…
Cheers,
Jared
AndrewModeratorHi Jared,
Thanks for the reminder. This is one that is requested a lot. I’ll try to get this in the next release.

A.J.
JaredParticipantJust updated to v16 – Thanks for adding the HIDE!!
And the trigger is pretty cool – now I can see the burst tx channel power as well.- AuthorPosts
