 facotlParticipant- Hello,
I use my USB-TG44A USB-SA44B combo to check a 433 MHz antenna and measured frequency is 423 MHz, not 433 MHz as given in antenna specs. Can it be a kind of Spike display issue or someone have already used it around this frequency and can confirm that is correct ?- Thank you.
KB0NEParticipant- My guess is that it is telling you the truth. If everything is working correctly this might indicate that your antenna is a tiny bit too long… or it is in an environment that is affecting its resonate characteristics. *Depending on the antenna and where it is mounted*, coax length can sometimes be a factor in resonance while sweeping the characteristics. - The TG can be set to operate on a single frequency and the accuracy could be checked with a frequency counter… - I have found my SA/TG setup to be very accurate and have used the combo to check and tune critical frequency dependent cavities.

 - Facotl,
I agree with KBONE. The frequency accuracy is 1 ppm. However, the antenna grounding, and any objects near the antenna, interact very strongly with your antenna, and can easily shift the center frequency 10% or more. By moving the antenna and changing the grounding, you can probably achieve your 433 MHz goal.
