Feature request: start a new file when max file size is reached

Hi,

I use Spike + BB60C for longtime spectrum monitoring. A really nice feature would be to have Spike save the current recording when “Max Save File Size” is reached, then automatically start recording a new file. This would repeat until recording is manually stopped. Could this be added to a future release?

As always, thanks for all of your efforts on Spike and Signal Hound hardware.

Thank you for the feature request. I have thought about this feature before, and while I think it would be a good feature to have I’m not sure when we will be able to implement it. I’ll make a note you are looking for it.
