Every time that i restart my computer i see in the device manager that the BB6OA driver is gone and i need to unplug the usb and plug it againe. My OS is win 7 64 bit and driver TEF v1.2.2.0

This was an issue for BB60As purchased before 9/13/2013. We have a firmware update to resolve this found on the downloads page https://signalhound.com/support/downloads/bb60c-bb60a-downloads/. Look for BB60A Firmware Update. Follow the instructions carefully and make sure you have a good USB connection before starting the update.

I had the same problem as Michelv – which was solved by firmware update (From 3 to 4).However-
1. few of these spectrum analyzers have stopped working after a while.2. One has even stopped working immediately after completing firmware update- its led doesn’t turn on and it’s not recognized by the computer/Spike software.
Furthermore, the device manager refreshes repeatedly while it’s connected to the computer.What do you suggest? Are those problems familiar?

Unfortunately if the firmware update process fails for any reason, the device becomes unusable. At that point, we will need to receive the unit and re-flash the internal memory. If you are in the US or Canada, you can send the unit to us and we will do this for you, for free. You can set up a repair by calling us at 1-800-260-TEST or emailing me at
aj at signalhound dot com.
If you are outside the US or Canada, you can do this through the distributor, they will send the unit to us.Either way, no charge other than shipping to us.
Failed firmware updates seem to be more common in older devices. If we receive a device and determine the failure is due to other reasons, and not just a failed firmware update, then we would discuss other repair options.
