BB60A and Spike Audio Problem

I have Spike version 3.0.21 and BB60A firmware 4.

I setup the frequency to 14.2 Mhz, span to 300 KHz, step to 100 Hz. I have an HF antenna connected to the SA and the ref level is set to -30 dBm. There is a USB signal at that frequency but is tuned off slightly. I access the audio player, set audio type to USB, BW to 3 KHz, (tried to set the low pass to 2.4 KHz and high pass to 800 Hz but won’t let me do it – instead it forces me to low pass at 3.0 kHz and high pass to 100 hz) and I hear the signal but is off frequency. (Deemphasis should not be needed in USB so not sure why the entry is active?) So I adjust the center frequency by stepping +20 Hz at a time and after about 4 steps the audio disappears. At this point I can no longer hear any audio. I switch to FM and there is audio. I switch to AM and there is audio. No more audio in USB, LSB or CW. I exit the audio player and then access the audio player again and still no audio. I save the configuration as preset 1. I then exit spike and then execute spike again. I load the preset. I see the signal and activate the audio player and there is audio. I then click on +20 Hz 4 times and then the audio disappears again. When I engage the audio player the sweep is set to idle so I cannot tune the frequency on the SA’s frequency control area. Any ideas why this is happening? The BB60A manual does not go into much detail for the audio player. FM seems to work ok on the 88 to 108 Mhz FM band.
