bbowarParticipantI am having a SPIKE device connect issue on an RTD PC-104 computer. I have had no issues with a Panasonic Toughbook CF-31, but we would like to fly the SA44B on our test aircraft and the computer on the plane is an RTD PC-104 computer. On the PC-104 I can normally start the SPIKE software and talk to 1 SA44B, but when I try to start a second instance of SPIKE to talk to the second SA44B I get Device Connection issues detected on the first SA44B and the second SA44B will show No Device Connected. Any ideas on what I could try to get both SA44B devices connected and working?
AndrewModeratorHi bbowar,
Try this..
Open two instances of Spike before connecting a device. If both devices are plugged in when you launch Spike, it will not auto connect one. Then in each instance of Spike, open one device. This way you can manually choose which device to open. It is possible that a certain order causes the software to try to talk to a device that is already open, and I wonder if that is what is happening here. Also you mention that you have got this to work on one PC before, so it could be related to this PC.Let me know if this suggestion solves your problem.
