Iam using BB60C for testing IoT device. I wanted to disable auto attenuationand auto pre-amp in emc precompliance window. so i can have control over my signal. how can i do that.

Unfortunately it is not possible to set gain/atten directly in the EMC precompliance mode as you can in the sweep mode, but only indirectly through the “max input” control, which has similar behavior to reference level in sweep mode.

And in precomplaince mode when ever i start testing. mt db in y axis automatically goes to 20dBuV. how do i keep it to 0dBuV for clesr judgement.
Let me know how i can tune it to be at 0dBuV?Attachments:

mt* is typo error for but.
Now Please take a look at the screenshot attactched, in the screenshot the signal is starting from 20 but ideally it has to start from 0. why is it?
Iam following cisper 32 class A limits which is 54dBuV. if my ref is 0dBuV then my limit should be 54dBuV if my reference is 20dBuV my limit cannot be 54dBuV.
why is the ref 20dBuV and why not 0dBuV?Attachments:

AndrewModeratorIt seems like you are talking about the noise floor of the measurement? If yes, then you can change the noise floor via 2 main ways. You can adjust the RBW. If you change the RBW to 10kHz, that will lower your noise floor by 20dB to 0dBuV. You can also change the sensitivity of the BB60C. If you lower the max input by another 5 dB to 55dBuV it will lower the noise floor by another 5 dBm. Unfortunately at 55dBuV you are at the maximum sensitivity of the BB60C, and won’t be able to lower it more via the max input control. You will need to rely on RBW again.
