billmaxParticipantSomewhere around Spike 4.01 Phase Noise has shown as an Unlicensed Feature on Signalhounds we own and tested (BB60 and SM200C so far). I updated to 4.03 and it’s the same. Is this a bug in this release of Spike or a new SignalHound policy?
SBabicParticipantSame here.
Just tried it and realized that what was working before is now asking 2500 USD for a year. I am hoping this is not walking back on free features. That is not a good move. I have no problems that you introduce a new, more sophisticated phase noise measurement module as paid for option. But old simple one should stay. I don’t use it often and on my BB60C instrument phase noise is not very good to begin with. So no I will not pay for it…Please, we need clarification on this.
hb9dtzParticipantIts basically not a good move to sell licenses per year. I will never ever pay for a feature per year when i don’t need it often. When Signalhound will go for licenses like this, i will stop that product in our company and go for something else!!!

I believe the base license (without cross-correlation) is $99 / year. If you don’t need the new features, you can keep using your 3.xx version for free.
