My customer, just started Spike at boot time and it works fine.. they have a dedicated Laptop so starting spike at boot is no problem…

Thank you for your answer, I ran a couple of tests and didn’t check these details, the USB shows in device manager, and I tested it with an USB/RS232 converter… I’m not sure about power and don’t recall checking the led. I will check those and get back to you. In the meantime could you tell if Spike sampling does time out? in other words latency affect the handshake?,
