gudjonParticipantHi
I do have problem with Spike and my new USB-TG44A. It
fails with a “Device not found” error.
Load VCP is not checked.
I did install the Signalhound Ftdi driver but when I open the device manager driver version 2.12.24.0 is loaded which is newer than the one I get with Signalhound.
I did check the driveer with FTProg and get the following info:
ProductDesc: ‘SignalhoundTG’
Serial Number: 31510019Do you have any solution to this problem?
I have used the FT232R device for many private projects and never had any problems with it.Regards
Gudjon
AndrewModeratorHello Gudjon,
If you want to control the TG directly, without an SA44/SA124, use the TGStandalone application found in the installation directory at C:\Program Files\Signal Hound\Spike\. Spike will only allow you to interface a TG after either a SA44 or SA124 is connected in the software.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Regards,
Andrew
