What is an acceptable USB interface for the VSG25A? The software manual says a USB 2.0 interface will work. The “VSG” discussion in the forum appears to say that only USB 3.0 provides consistent operation. Can you clarify the requirements for this interface? Will USB 2.0 work or should the interface be USB 3.0?
Hi cpitcher,
The VSG operates on USB 2.0. Fortunately USB 3.0 is backwards compatible so you are able to connect the VSG with supplied cable to a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port on your PC and everything will work.
