AndyParticipantHello again. A few months ago I mentioned that my SA44b had started over-reading by a dB or two. I’ve been tolerating this, but on further investigation I find it changes depending on the ref level setting. At 0dBm ref, the displayed amplitude is OK, but at -10dBm and beyond the reading is high and it changes a little with every change in ref level. This seems more like a calibration error than a fault, so I’m wondering if something happened to the cal when it was repaired (popped mixer) about a year ago? You were kind enough to send me a replacement cal file when I originally brought this up which I installed, but of course this was the original cal file for the unit before it was repaired. This may not suit the repaired unit. Is there any way this can be sorted out? If it helps, s/no is 11310321. Many thanks.
AndrewModeratorHi Andy,
We can set you up with a warranty adjustment since the mixer replacement was recent.
