“failed to load core fx3 program” on SM435B

LED shows red while Spike is starting, then green. Spike spins a few seconds longer and opens a dialog: “failed to load core fx3 program.” Close dialog, Spike starts, unconnected to analyzer.

Actions:
analyzer power off/on
reseated USB (Device Manager shows activity on unplug/plug)
reboot computer
uninstall/reinstall Spike and driver (currently 4.0.11)
Windows 11
