We shot a quick (okay, 5 minutes or so, but quick enough) video of Bruce talking about our new 20 GHz spectrum analyzer, due on the market in October of 2017 (Editor’s Note—Now December of 2017). Watch the video and get the details on the new device, and why we built it.

Drivers for systems running Linux OS??!?
Not initially, I don’t think. I’ll hit up the engineers and let you know for sure.
So I spoke with the engineers and found out that there will be Linux drivers a month or two after release. Our Spike software will continue to be Windows-only, though, for the foreseeable future, unless something significantly changes in our development resources/process. The only Linux support planned so far is API support.
Open source your GUI, it will eventually get rewritten as your product lines become more popular.
I’m looking at getting some more information on the SMA200A 20GHz Sig Hound.
Unit price?
Is the SMA200A compatible with the Kestrel RF platform?
Kind Regards,
Dan T
Hi Daniel. Thanks for the inquiry.
The price for the SM200A is $11,900 USD. We will have the device for sale in late October/November of this year. And yes, the SM200A will absolutely be compatible with the Kestrel software! We are working with Kestrel to ensure well-performing device support.
