I guess you understand it is not something negligible for me. Fortunately I made other test measurements which helped to recognize the issue. I will give it a try with the approach you mentioned to get better results, but it is not very good. I would need to know I can trust to level settings. I guess it is only some bug in SW where is mixes numbers or signs.
When the new software will be released? If it will be this month it is ok, if it will be later could bug fix be considered?BTW excluding the -20dB level shift and noise floor limitation (I would set it better if I would know I need to go lower with the noise but it was below -100dBm and the ) and some obstacles in SW I mentioned the measurement went very well. I compared results with Rohde & Schwarz ZVL3 (this is how I found the -20dB shift) and it is impressive how the measurements comply. See attachment. It includes manual correction of the level exactly by +20dB. So even level precision is very good. According to other measurements focused on this aspect it was around +/-0.2dB difference without any special effort. That is great for me.
