Is it possible to create a GPS signal with VSG25A ?

Unfortunately, no. Due to the small pattern buffer, a test GPS signal cannot be generated.
With our VSG60A (coming later this year), you can play very long patterns. If you have software that generates a GPS test signal, the VSG60A could play it.D Dhivagar August 21, 2019 at 2:55 am
So, the VSG software from signal hound will not have preprogrammed GPS signal generation, right?Andrew August 21, 2019 at 8:07 am
That is correct Dhivagar.D Dhivagar August 21, 2019 at 10:26 am
Is this same for a Bluetooth signal also ?
Can you suggest me which software is used to generate a test Bluetooth and gps signal ?Andrew August 22, 2019 at 9:23 am
I am not familiar with software that can be used to generate these waveforms.

I found one video for this GPS generation application from keysight
Can we follow this same procedure with our VSG60A or else is there any possibilities to generate a GPS signal using Matlab and play with VSG60A?
Also, the signal strength of GPS signals were very low upto -120dBm since our VSG cannot generate such low signals, how this is possible?Andrew December 2, 2019 at 6:42 am
I’m not familiar with GPS, but I believe the sample rate needed is 5MS/s or less, so I believe the VSG60A could generate a GPS signal if you used other software to generate the GPS waveform. We have no plans to create such a software at this time.
