Using Spike’s Interference Hunting mode with your Signal Hound spectrum analyzer

We live in a world full of wireless activity. While the conveniences of the wireless devices in our lives are often welcome, working with RF in the wireless space can often be a headache as overlapping frequencies and signals interfere with the intended functionality of wireless products.

There are a variety of ways to troubleshoot and visualize interfering RF activity, and some are more straight-to-the point than others. With Spike, we now offer an efficient module for Interference Hunting.

This guide works through a few basic processes as a proof-of-concept, allowing you to see for yourself just how easy it is to work in the Interference Hunting mode and observe the various options within the mode. You can also see what the data export looks like and the kind of data it delivers.
