Getting FAA Approval to Install Transmitter Solution Near an Airport

One of our customers needed to create and maintain a transmitter report for the Federal Aviation Administration. The goal was achieved by collecting RF data using our SA44B 4.4 GHz spectrum analyzer, programming a custom solution via our API, and controlling an antenna system with an Arduino.

The flexible architecture of the SA44B and the software enabled this creative solution, and satisfied the needs of both the FAA and our customer.
