Software features

  • LTE waveform generation

  • Customize and generate LTE test models and downlink RMC waveforms for transmitter testing, demodulation and link performance, and conformance testing. The VSG60 is the most affordable LTE waveform generation solution on the market.

  • Custom I/Q modulation

  • Configure parameters such as I/Q constellation, pulse shaping filter, payload, sample rate, and signal duty cycle for packet like transmissions. Select from standard PSK/QAM/FSK modulations or define your own. Select from industry standard pulse shaping filters such as RRC, Gaussian, etc., or define your own.

  • Arbitrary waveform generation

  • Transmit custom I/Q waveforms at arbitrary sample rates. Use the streaming Arb output to play files with billions of samples or more, straight from disk. Create custom Arb sequences with 200µs frequency hopping to simulate complex channel scenarios.

  • 802.11a/n/ac/ax waveform generation

  • Generate several OFDM based 802.11 standard compliant waveforms. Specify, MCS, PHY/OFDM parameters, custom payloads, bandwidth, and packet duty cycle. Simple waveform creation for WLAN device manufacturing and wireless testing.

  • Signal impairments

  • Configure impairments such as AWGN with custom bandwidths, custom complex channel responses, custom phase noise, frequency and level offset, sample rate offset, and DC offsets. Easy to configure for rapid R&D, manufacturing, and field simulation testing.

Other features

Use the API to continuously stream custom I/Q data to the VSG60A at arbitrary sample rates up to 51.2 MSPS. Use the external trigger output to synchronize multiple instruments for complex measurement setups. Take advantage of the 10MHz timebase input to ensure frequency coordination between all lab equipment.
